John Walker

The founder of Kingdom Force Academy, he and the dedicated Kingdom Force Academy team are passionate about spreading the message of Jesus (John 3:16) through education. With nearly 30 years of service in the United States Army, John’s commitment to military intelligence and promoting sports education for children shines through in every aspect of the academy. Alongside his wife Lisanne and their compassionate team, they go above and beyond to ensure that each student is guided on their unique path to greatness. As the son of a Baptist elder from Locust Grove, VA, John has dedicated his life to serving others and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

In March 2018, John and Lisanne tied the knot in Richmond, VA. Their mutual love for serving others—John’s passion for sharing the gospel and Lisanne’s enthusiasm for teaching and nurturing children—fueled the creation of Kingdom Force Academy. John envisions a future where Christian schools affiliated with churches can share the message of Jesus’s love (Charis) and grace, reaching across the nation and around the world.

Proud of the Kingdom Force Academy staff and the student lives that are positively being impacted, John continually wears a smile, encouraging teachers, administrators and the board to “plant a seed” (of hope, of truth, of the gospel message of Christ.and

Lisanne Walker

As the director of Kingdom Force Academy, Lisanne draws inspiration from the teachings found in the books of Nehemiah and John.  Although she felt a calling to teach at the young age of 18, Lisanne initially embarked on a corporate career that spanned two decades.  In 2004, she took a pivotal step by enrolling at Charis Bible College. Her life took a transformative turn during a missions assignment when she encountered two young children living in a homeless shelter. This moment ignited a passion within her that would shape her future. Lisanne began serving with the Salvation Army and collaborated with another ministry to create emergency care bags for children from broken homes entering the foster care system. Through these experiences, her commitment to the safety and education of children became her life’s mission. Together with her husband John, and soon to be foster children, Lisanne is dedicated to reaching children of all ages, empowering them with education and fostering a love for Jesus that will illuminate their paths and help rejuvenate God’s Kingdom on Earth.

Lisanne brings over ten years of teaching experience and a degree in ministry to her role as an advocate for students, aiming to ensure that each child has an exceptional educational experience that paves the way for a bright future. She is especially in tune with students facing learning challenges and those who are struggling within their current school settings. With a particular focus on supporting students affected by learning loss during COVID, Lisanne is dedicated to providing the assistance needed. Her team-oriented approach and commitment to her community shine through in her interactions, reflecting her joy in working with children from all backgrounds, races, and learning styles.
